Davis McGrath handles trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation in federal and state courts across the U.S., and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. We also coordinate international IP litigation through a network of foreign associates. Davis McGrath's intellectual property litigation has encompassed matters large and small, for both plaintiffs and defendants. For example, we recently helped a small software developer obtain a multi-million dollar jury verdict as co-counsel in a copyright and trade secret case against a Fortune 500 company. We have represented the creators of a well-known children's television character in litigation against a host of companies renting costumes of the character without authorization. 

In representing clients on the trademark side, we have successfully represented a major electronics company in defending against an Opposition Proceeding in the TTAB, and we prevailed in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in helping a manufacturing client obtain trademark registration for the color orange as used on a proprietary wire rope product.
